This online course is intended for all current University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy preceptors. The orientation will focus on preceptor and institutional expectations as well as programmatic logistics during the offering of IPPE and APPE rotations.

Outline

Schedule of Educational Activities:
This course is designed with four sections to allow you to fit it in to your busy schedule. You may complete the course all-at-once or in multiple sessions. To complete this course you must do the following:

  1. Complete a Preceptor Orientation Pre-Evaluation.
  2. View introduction video
  3. View each of the four video presentations in Sections 1-4  (1:12:20 total time). 
  4. Complete the post-assessment. You must score 70% on the post-assessment to pass and you will have four chances to pass the post-assessment.
  5. Complete the course evaluation.

The UMNCoP will report your participation in the CPE activity to the NABP CPE Monitor within 60 days for all participants who successfully complete this activity. Successful completion includes: completing the online pre-session evaluation, listening to/viewing the entire session (4 sections), completing the online post-assessment, and completing an online evaluation form for the CPE activity. After completing the evaluation form, a statement of credit may be printed from the NABP CPE Monitor online.
