Choose this option if you already have an UMN Guest Learner account or an University of Minnesota ID. 

Select the radio button below that applies, then select the
"Login" button. 

  • If you are registering only yourself or want to manage an existing registration, select the radio button "Register myself or manage my registration".
  • If you are registering a group, choose "I am registering one or more people".

If you have not used your UMN Guest Learner account in the past 90 days, it is may be inactive. To reactivate your UMN Guest Learner account contact University Tech Support at 612-301-4357 or HELP@umn.edu.  In your request, ask to have your "UMN Guest Learner account reactivated".

An alternative option is to use a non-issued University of Minnesota email address and follow instructions under I do not have a guest account.

Choose this option if you need to create a new UMN Guest Learner account.

Select the radio button below that applies, then select 
"Create a New Login" button. 

  • If you are registering yourself only, choose the radio button "I need to create a new account to register myself."
  • If you are registering others, make sure that you select the radio button "I need to create a new account to register others."

Note on Group Registrations:

  1. Create a UMN Guest Learner account. Once created you can register others and yourself.
  2. Your full email address will become your Guest Learner ID.
  3. After creating your account, select the Continue button. When prompted, enter your Guest Learner ID and password to enter the registration system.
  4. If you are registering a group, you will be able to enter information for each individual.
