Learn more about the 5 Agroforestry practices (windbreaks, silvopasture, riparian buffers, alley cropping and forest farming) and how to design them and the trees, shrubs and vegetation used in these working tree plantings.

The Minnesota Agroforestry Institute is a two-and-a-half-day training that includes classroom workshops and on-farm visits. It will provide all participants with the opportunity to integrate the concepts learned into practical farm plans. This training is for anyone working with landowners who want to plant working trees for multiple benefits on their land. This includes local service providers like SWCD, NRCS, DNR, Agriculture and forestry consultants to mention a few.
