To register a student for the Spring 2025 UMTYMP Algebra Entrance Exam, please log in with an existing account or create a new account.

This link is to register for the Entrance Exam in UMTYMP Online for students in outlying Minnesota.  If you are in the Twin Cities, please use the links on this page instead.  If you are interested in testing at the Rochester site you should register using this Rochester exam link regardless of whether your are interested in taking the class in person or online

Please Note: you shoud use an account for a parent/guardian of the student.  Do not log in as the student.  Later in the registration process, you'll be asked to provide information about the student.

• If you have a UMN employee or student account (username@umn.edu), you can use that account for this registration process, but be aware that the entrance exam will appear alongside any other training or conferences which appear on the learning.umn.edu website.  If you want to avoid that situation, you can create a new guest account.  If you register using a UMN account, we'll use that email as our primary method of contact with you.

• If you do not have a UMN account and have not previously created a guest account for this registration system (or do not wish to use it for this registration), you should register as a New User.  You can use any valid email address as the ID for your guest account.  Please make sure to use an email address that you check regularly; we'll use that email address as our primary method of contact with you.

If you want to register multiple students, you will need to use a different account for each one.

Registration for the first round of Entrance Exam will close on three days prior to the exam date or when sessions are full, whichever comes first!
