Agricultural Tax Issues-October 21 Webinar
The Agricultural Tax Issues is a one-day course that covers what’s new in ag tax law for the year and targets income tax professionals who work with farmers but will also benefit agricultural professionals such as agricultural lenders and farm management instructors. Classes are fashioned for tax professionals working with individual and farm tax returns, including CPAs, enrolled agents, attorneys, and VITA volunteers. Please note paper registrations will not be accepted. All participants must register online.
Date and Location:
Oct. 21, 2024, 8:00 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. – via Zoom
Early bird price is $180 and increases to $220 on September 30, 2024.
The course fee includes the electronic pdf and printed versions of the 2024 Agricultural Tax Issues book, published by the Land Grant University Tax Education Foundation. Continuing education credits in federal tax law updates and federal tax related matters will be awarded upon completion of the class.
CE credits available: 8 IRS hours | 8 CFP credits | 6.5 CLE hours in Minnesota

Participant requirements
- All participants must have a laptop, desktop or tablet to participate in Zoom polls throughout the day as instructed to receive full CE credits. Phones are not allowed for participation in Zoom workshops.
- You must be present and active in the meeting unless it is a break time and stay until dismissal time to receive CE credits.
- Technical assistance is limited the day of a webinar, and it is strongly recommended participants test their Zoom equipment before the session to make sure all parts are working properly (https://zoom.us/test). Refunds, credits, or transfers are not available due to technological issues.

Registration cancellation policy
Read completely before registering for a workshop.
- Cancellations must be requested by the late registration deadline (2 weeks before given session). All cancellations will incur a $15 administration fee.
- Cancellation requests received after the late registration deadline will not be refunded.
- To request a cancellation, send an email with all pertinent details to ext-reg@umn.edu.
