A/C/H: 2025 Pesticide Safety Recertification
To start your recertification registration and view available workshops, log in with an existing account or sign in as a new user below. *If you have an account already but haven't logged in for over 365 days, you'll need to reset your password. Online pre-registration is required. Walk-ins are not accepted. ALL workshops have a limited class size and are open until full or the registration close date, whichever occurs first.
Notes on in-person attendance
- MDA manages attendance for events. You must bring your applicator license and photo ID.
- You must check in and out and scan your license as directed. You must be present and active in the meeting room unless it is a break time and stay until dismissal time to receive credit.
- Participation is required by all attendees. Cell phones must be put away during the meeting. MDA will be monitoring activity throughout the workshop.
- Morning and afternoon breaks and lunch will be served. Indicate any dietary needs when registering.
- Agricultural Chemical Inspectors may be onsite. Be sure that your work trucks and equipment are secured and pesticides and empty containers are not accessible to the public.
Notes about Field Days
When attending field day workshops, participants should plan to:
- Allow additional time to find parking and walk to the starting destination; in some cases paid parking is required.
- Be active outdoors including walking on uneven surfaces and stairs, standing and bending over.
- Bring additional water, a bag to hold belongings and materials, rain poncho, hat, suncreen, and bug repellent.
- Participants are required to attend all sessions completely and follow directions for verification to receive credit.
- All events are rain or shine so plan accordingly!
- Morning and afternoon refreshments, lunch and water are provided.
Notes about online training
Zoom link information will be sent to registered participants 10 days prior to the workshop; check your email for details.
Participant requirements:
- All participants must have a laptop, desktop or tablet with working microphone, camera and speakers. Cell phones are not allowed for participation in Zoom workshops. Participants will be required to keep cameras ON throughout the workshop and participate as instructed
- You must show your applicator license on camera during the check in and check out processes.
- You must be present and active in the meeting unless it is a break time and stay until dismissal time to receive credit.
- Technical assistance is not available. Participants must test their equipment before the workshop to make sure all parts are working properly. Refunds, credits, or transfers are not available due to technological issues.

Registration cancellation and transfer policies
Read completely before registering for a workshop.
- Cancellations must be requested by the registration deadline. All cancellations will incur a $40 administration fee.
- Cancellation requests received after the registration deadline are not available for refund.
- Transfer requests must be received prior to the registration deadline of the original workshop registered and paid for. You can only transfer to the same type of workshop. No transfers are allowed after the registration deadline.
- To request a cancellation or transfer, send an email with all pertinent details to ext-reg@umn.edu.
