Description

In this one-hour presentation, recorded on November 5, 2021, Dr. Stuart Grande will introduce community-engaged research, drawing on influences, and examples. A specific example discussed is the perspectives of people with lived experience of homelessness.

Objectives

  • Gain a deeper appreciation of what it means to partner with communities in the generation, delivery, and dissemination of research as citizen researchers.
  • Describe and debate the main facilitators and barriers of co-producing research with community members with lived experience of housing instability.

Competencies

For CPH recertification, the following competencies may be met:

1.1.1 Describes factors that affect the health of a community

1.1.6 Uses quantitative and qualitative data.
