Description
In this two hour workshop, attendees will build their understanding of:
- What the positive deviance approach is
- Why this approach is valuable in public health and health care settings
- How the approach has been used to address common health care issues, and
- What the future of positive deviance in research and practice looks like
Objectives
- Understand the positive deviance research technique
- Describe why positive deviance is valuable in public health and health care settings
- Provide examples of how this approach can be applied to address health care and public health issues
