Description

Description: The ADI-R Research Training is for specialists in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) interested in establishing research reliability. The requirements for attending ADI-R Research are to have practiced the ADI-R before coming to the training and to have read the manual. The course offers detailed, advanced training for people who plan to use the ADI-R for research purposes and is necessary for use of the ADI-R in research. The goals of this workshop are to provide hands-on experience in administering the ADI-R, detailed instruction and practice with coding, and information on appropriate use and interpretation in research. With guidance from an experienced ADI-R trainer, trainees will administer parts of the ADI-R to volunteer caregivers of people with ASD. Detailed discussion on scoring of the ADI-R follows the practice administration. Trainees will be provided video exemplars of ADI-R administrations to supplement the workshop and will be given instructions on next steps for achieving research reliability.

This course will take place in-person at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus.

Cost: $2500. There is an option to submit post-course reliability checks within a year of the workshop for $600 per video.
