Description

In this workshop, you will learn two basic concepts of Project Management: scheduling and cost estimating. Facilitated by an instructor experienced in government, aerospace and medical device projects, the workshop is open to all graduate and professional students from any discipline interested in getting things done! To earn a Digital Badge at the Maroon level, students must attend both sessions and pass a quiz to demonstrate comprehension. To earn a badge at the Gold level, students must attend both sessions and apply principles discussed in the sessions to real life scenarios.  The scenarios will be submitted after the sessions to be reviewed by the facilitator. While students should be comfortable working with numerical data, no prior experience in accounting or statistics is needed.  Facilitator: David Quimby, Senior Lecturer, Supply Chain and Operations, Carlson School of Management.
