Description

Ableism- systemic discrimination against people with disabilities- shapes how individuals, cultures, and institutions define value, productivity, and belonging. This course invites learners to explore disability justice as a framework for reimagining communities where interdependence, access, and community care are guiding principles. Learners will examine how ableism affects participation and power, and how civic life can be reshaped to honor the dignity and contributions of all people.

This dialogue section will take place online via Zoom on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026 from 1pm to 3pm. The course's Zoom link will be included in the enrollment receipt, and will be sent again on the Monday before the session via email.
