Description

Are you new to leading meetings? Do you want to become a better facilitator and meeting participant? If yes, our four-part series on growing your facilitation skills is for you.

Offered online, each 90-minute session builds on the previous session's content and will engage you with tools and perspectives for facilitating both in-person and online meetings. The sessions will not be recorded.

You will access the course via Zoom from 1 – 2:30 p.m. CST on the following dates:

  • Session 1 (November 3): Designing good meetings
  • Session 2 (November 10): Facilitation mindset and skillset
  • Session 3 (November 17): Tools to facilitate engagement
  • Session 4 (November 24): Handling facilitation challenges

To receive a certificate of completion, you must attend all four sessions and complete a Personal Action Plan.

Cost

This course is offered using a pay-what-you-can pricing model. Choose the rate (tuition profile) that works best for you and/or your organization:

  • $120 - I have a professional development budget, and want to use those funds to learn via this course.
  • $60 - I do not have a professional development budget, and want to invest personal funds to grow my facilitation skills.
  • $20 - I want to learn more about facilitation, and appreciate that this nominal fee is an option.

Section Details

The course series will be offered on Mondays (November 3 through November 24, 2025) from 1 – 2:30 p.m. CST. You will receive instructions for accessing the course via Zoom prior to the first session.

Registration opens September 29 and closes on October 24, 2025 at 4 p.m. CST.

A full refund is available if notice of cancellation is received by noon on Friday, October 24. No refunds are available after the series begins.
