Description

Creating access does not end at accommodations- it’s about cultivating a community where everyone’s presence, needs, and contributions are recognized as valid and essential. This course explores how environmental design, awareness of access barriers, and an asset-based approach can shape classrooms and workplaces where all people can participate fully and flourish. Together, participants will consider how classrooms, offices, events, and digital spaces can be structured to reflect our commitment to dignity, empathy, and belonging. Emphasis is placed on cooperation, creativity, and conversation as pathways to ensuring that access is not an afterthought but a shared community practice.
