Description

University of Minnesota Autism Diagnostics Training Program

Prerequisites: Prior training in modules 1 - 4 of the ADOS / ADOS-2 (e.g. attendance at an ADOS or ADOS-2 Introductory and/or Research Workshop).

This training assumes experience with child assessment and differentiating autism from other diagnoses.  If you want more training in this area before taking the ADOS-2 training, we recommend the Introduction to ASD workshop and the Differential Diagnosis workshop offered through the Global Autism Interactive Network (GAIN).

Description: The ADOS-2 Toddler Introductory Training is an introductory workshop on the ADOS-2 Toddler Module, which is an assessment tool for children ages 12-30 months who are not yet speaking in phrases. It includes lectures and video demonstrations to introduce the basic principles of administering and scoring the Toddler Module. This workshop is a prerequisite for more thorough training required to use the Toddler ADOS-2 for research purposes. All trainees are expected to have prior training in modules 1-4 of the ADOS / ADOS-2.

Questions regarding the training can be sent to Maishia Yang at yang8440@umn.edu
