Course outline and expectations

Course length: 4.5 weeks
Delivery method: online
Time commitment: Participants will complete 8 online modules which should take about one hour each. The final synchronous online learning commitment will be scheduled with participant feedback; targeted dates include the mornings of March 16 & 17 or evenings of March 16, 20, 22. These will likely be 2 to 3 2-hour web meetings depending on course registration size.

Week 5 - synchronous online learning, dates and times to be determined by participants once the course starts

Technology requirements:

Ability to participate via Zoom preferable with a video and microphone, internet access is essential for both asynchronistic online access to course content in Canvas and to the synchronistic Zoom meetings.

You will need reliable internet access and a computer with an updated web browser. In addition, you will need a broadband internet connection (DSL or faster), and the ability to playback media content (for courses that include audio and video).

Supported operating systems and web browsers: Canvas runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, or any other device with a modern web browser. Canvas supports the last two versions of every browser release. We highly recommend updating to the newest version of whatever browser you are using as well as the most up-to-date Flash plug-in.

Word processing software such as Microsoft Word OR Google account for use with Google Docs. Adobe Acrobat or another supported PDF reader.

Optional: access to a printer to print your student workbook and your completed Engagement Plan.
