This is the online version of the 2019 Private Pesticide Applicator Certification Exam. Please read through all this information before proceeding.

***Applicators who have had an account with us in the past, must call the University of Minnesota's One Help technology line at 612-301-4357 to reactivate your account before you register!***

If your private pesticide applicator license has expired, will expire on March 1st, 2019, or if you have never held a private pesticide applicator license, you may take this exam to (re)certify as an applicator in 2019.

If technology isn't your strong suit, you may choose to attend a workshop (available Jan - Feb 2019, only if you are recertifying) or take the mail-in (re)certification exam instead. Mail-in exams are available at local Extension offices.

Mail in and online exams are not the same.
You may not enter responses from a paper mail-in exam to this online version.
       You may not
transfer payment from the mail-in exam to the online exam, or vice versa.

There is a $75 non-refundable fee for the exam.
Any cancellations of exam registrations, including chargebacks, will be subject to a $30 administration fee.

This process of exam registration is a lot like shopping online, so it may seem familiar. Open THIS LINK in a new window or tab to help guide you through.

In order to create your guest account, please provide your own valid email address to which you have immediate access, or someone else's name will be on your certification. Duplicate emails cannot be used.
If you have already registered in previous years, or happen to find that your email is already in use, call UMN's One Help for assistance at 612-301-4357.

The link to the exam will be provided as part of your receipt on the final page of the registration process. This receipt will also be sent to your email, in a message titled "University of Minnesota Confirmation." Please check your spam folders if you do not see it in your inbox.

Be advised that due to system integration between registration and exam, it can take ten minutes up to the next morning of a business day for exam access to be granted.

You have 3 chances to earn a score of at least 80% on this exam to (re)certify for your private pesticide applicator's license. After you achieve a passing score, please do not re-attempt the exam to improve the score; this can cause errors in the system, and you may not be (re)certified.

All exams must be successfully completed before August 31st, 2019 in order to be (re)certified in 2019.

If you have any questions before you register for the exam, contact us.
