Join Cheri Stockinger, quilting expert and 2019 Cedar Creek Artist in Residence, to work on the sewing projects you are having trouble finishing! Drop in anytime between 9am and 9pm with your personal sewing supplies and projects (cutting and ironing equipment provided) to sew in community with Cheri and others. You can stay as long or as short as you would like. If you'd choose to, you're invited to take a break between noon and 2pm to participate in Cedar Creek's summer StoryWalk, or to chat with scientists and naturalists about how to find inspiration in nature for your next project. In addition to your sewing supplies, bring your own lunch with beverage and a snack to share. Lasagna dinner will be provided in the evening!
Day sew will take place in the Lindeman Research and Discovery Center, 2660 Fawn Lake Drive NE, East Bethel MN 55005. Drop in and stay as long as you'd like.
$6 for the general public; $5 for Cedar Creek members.
