Join Cheri Stockinger, expert quilter and 2019 Cedar Creek Artist in Residence for a weekend away to work on your half-finished quilting projects! Check in after 4pm on Friday and check out after brunch on Sunday. In between, spend time sewing in community with Cheri and other quilters, and join Cedar Creek naturalists for a nature walk, weather permitting. Pack your own quilting projects and sewing machines (cutting and ironing equipment provided). Course fee of $100 covers two nights of lodging (no linens provided; bring a sleeping bag or twin sheets/blankets and a towel) and five meals (Friday: dinner; Saturday: breakfast, lunch and dinner; Sunday: brunch). Bring your own beverages and a snack to share.
A Saturday-only section is also available. Course fee of $40 includes three meals on Saturday but does NOT include lodging or Friday afternoon/Sunday morning activities.
Participants must follow University of Minnesota COVID protocols, which may include masking, distancing, capacity limits or other components. The current protocols will be communicated to participants in early March.
$100 for the general public; $90 for Cedar Creek members. (Saturday only: $40 general / $35 members)
