Description
This course prepares physicians and other health care providers to practice medicine during disaster response and in settings with limited resources.
Estimated Time To Complete
Allow 25 hours, including additional time for bonus materials.
Objectives
This course enables you to:
- Explain a framework for providing culturally-competent health care during disaster response and in resource-limited settings.
- Improve expertise in clinical care in low-resource settings including short-term relief work.
This course is composed of five sections:
- Disaster Relief
- Medical Relief Missions
- Clinical Medicine In Resource Limited Settings
- Pediatrics in Resource Limited Settings
- OB/GYN in Resource Limited Settings
- Clinical Case Vignettes
