Description

Providing raptor patients with proper nutrition throughout the rehabilitation process can literally be a matter of life and death. From the time a patient arrives at your doorstep, making educated nutritional decisions is critical to the bird’s health and recovery. Learn how to decide the best approach to use when offering nutrition to a patient when it first arrives, the do’s and don’ts of feeding a raptor once it is stabilized, how to safely store and thaw food, and tips on how to get even the pickiest of eaters (osprey included) to consume the nutrition you offer.

This self study is worth 1 self-reported continuing education credit.
