Description

The Agricultural Conservation Planning Framework (ACPF) is an ArcGIS-based application to help local conservationists identify specific opportunities on the landscape for conservation practices. Watershed coordinators use the resulting maps to focus their fieldwork and to explain local issues and opportunities to landowners and engage them in designing solutions.

This day-and-a-half long workshop is for local watershed planners and implementers to learn how to use output from the ACPF to engage landowners in water resource planning and implementation, and to make field visits more effective. The training is NOT intended to train GIS specialists in running the ACPF. Refreshments and box lunches are provided both days.
