Outline

Presentations can be a daily interaction in the business world, and the need to deliver with confidence and clarity is vital to success. This course helps you develop a dynamic style of connecting with the audience through presence, humor, precision, spontaneity, and purpose. You will learn the importance of distilling concepts to a singular idea. Additionally, vocal exercises in enunciation, emphasis, beats, timing, breath, and meaning will help you generate presence on stage and eliminate public speaking anxiety. Building an effective construct with an easy-to-follow template illuminates key messages and questions to strategize when organizing the presentation. Through group and individual coaching, you will learn how to overcome the dread of presenting and embrace the skill of communicating with impact.

Following this course you will be able to:

  • Connect with your audience and motivate them to action 
  • Understand basic tenets of storytelling and how to effectively use these to enhance presentations
  • Refine voice technique and body language while presenting, and develop coping strategies for management of nerves
  • Read your audience and know how to keep them engaged
  • Build exciting visual materials within your presentation
