If you’ve ever been daunted by the idea of growing vegetables, or have tried in the past but become overwhelmed with weeds, then the Growing Vegetables in Minnesota online module is for you! Developed through University of Minnesota Extension, this online class will teach you how to plan, plant, and manage your vegetable garden for success throughout the growing season. Learn online at your own pace with access to the course through the growing season, with the ability to ask questions along the way.

Learning objectives include:

  • What your growing site needs, from light to soil
  • How to choose vegetable varieties for Minnesota
  • Proper planting and plant management practices
  • Harvesting time and techniques

How it Works

Login information for the online course and a welcome video from the course coordinator will be sent upon registration. Course is self-paced and will begin anytime after you receive the login information. This course typically takes 4-6 hours to complete. Online course materials will be available until 9/30/2021.
