Strategies for Working Remotely

The current global health and economic upheaval is transforming our work and personal lives in ways we couldn’t have imagined even a few months ago. Fortunately, we live in a time where technology can connect many of us better than ever before. However, building a high-performing virtual team requires awareness and intentional effort beyond logging in, whether you are a team leader or individual contributor. This course will go beyond the basics to offer you impactful communication and collaboration strategies whether you are new to remote work or have been navigating virtual boundaries for a while.

 Following this course, you will be able to:

·       respond to the myths of remote work arrangements including the role of trust, accountability and common goals
·       identify which foundational communication and leadership skills need to be amplified in a virtual environment
·       understand the dynamics of a cross-cultural team including influences of language and culture
·       prioritize employee engagement, sense of belonging and collaboration for remote work success
