For science and technology innovators curious about commercialization and entrepreneurship. Perhaps you’re thinking about doing your own startup, or perhaps you’d just like to explore how to bring your innovation closer to real-world impact through commercialization. These sessions are open to students at all levels, postdocs, research scientists and faculty.

You’ve got a great startup idea, but not all the skills and connections needed to make it take off. Or, you have a lot to offer a startup, but you don’t have your own idea. Panelists will address:
- How do co-founders find each other?
- How do you determine who should be on the founding team?
- Who gets equity and how much?
- Should you have a Founders Agreement and what should it address?

How do you attract customers when you have little-to-no money? Panelists will address how to build a brand, free and low-cost marketing tools, and how to reach your target market.

You know a lot about your product and customers, but you’re no accountant and you can’t afford a Chief Financial Officer. Experts provide a basic overview of financial statements and the numbers you should focus on to keep your business healthy.
