Description

This workshop will lay out the core components of effective report writing in industry as well as in corporate and non-profit settings. Participants will gain an awareness of reports' important rhetorical conventions (audience, purpose, structure, and evidence) as well as the nuanced variations across several report genres (analytical, informational, analytical/recommendation, etc.). Through samples of reports and whitepapers, participants will explore how writers utilize reports to help support decision-making in industry and various workplaces.
