If you are currently managing aquatic invasive species (AIS) on the lake you live on, would like to be a more informed consumer of AIS management programs at your favorite lake, are considering new AIS control efforts, would like a better understanding of what lake management professionals are doing, or are just generally interested in aquatic invasive species management issues, then this course is for you!

In this course you will learn:

  • the basics of AIS control and aquatic plant management
  • more about aquatic pesticides, how they work, and the regulations surrounding pesticide use
  • available non-chemical AIS management tools
  • how AIS management success may be defined and evaluated *thinking about management through a long-view lens

This is a fully online, self-paced course. You may register at any time, but access to the course will not be available until February 3, 2025. You must complete the course by the end of the day on March 10, 2025. The course offers information presented in a variety of formats and instructors are available through discussion forums embedded in the course and via email to answer any questions you may have along the way.

$75 registration fee provides access to the online course which runs February 3 through March 10, 2025.

We will provide full refunds to all participants if the course is canceled. Full refunds are available until the course opens on February 3rd, 2025. We will not be able to offer refunds to individuals after that time.
