Description

Is your raptor ambassador an engaged willing participant in its education role? If not, do you know how to help it become one? This self-study will provide insight into how to train a raptor ambassador using the A,B,C,s of the science of behavior.

To provide a raptor ambassador with the best welfare possible while under your care, it needs clear communication from its handlers/caretakers as to what behaviors are desired and when. Training desired behaviors can seem daunting but can be made easier by understanding the ABC’s in the science of behavior: (antecedent, behavior, consequences) and the power of well-timed reinforcement. This self-study will provide foundational information, key takeaways and activities to help the learner grasp these concepts.
