Description

As the first event in our Minnesota Forests and Carbon Series, this three-day event is designed to review the why, who, and how of forest-based carbon markets. We’ll hear from both representatives of large forest carbon credit programs and large landowners who are actively involved in carbon markets on their land. We’ll also spend an optional day in the woods visiting stands to visually compare and contrast forest carbon inventory data and projections in a variety of stands. At the end of the program, you should have a strong understanding of key terms and concepts, how different carbon credit programs work and which, if any, might be right for your land.
