Description

Wet lowland, and riparian forests in the Lake States are important ecologically and commercially. But numerous challenges constrain management options, including dealing with serious and imminent forest health threats including ash mortality from the emerald ash borer and tamarack mortality from the eastern larch beetle. In this three-day online symposium, we'll hear from researchers and practitioners as we dig into these issues, the status of the associated natural resources, and what we can do to ensure continued ecological integrity and productivity in these systems.
