Description

Participants will engage in learning and discourse related to contracted clinical supervision - technical and relational aspects of productive partnerships. Participants will discuss and learn about the unique benefits and challenges in providing contracted clinical supervision to support increased learning and positive, more effective supervisor-supervisee relationships related to contracted clinical supervision. Techniques and content will focus on maximizing learning, accountability, and positive results for clients and supervisees.

 

Objectives

After completing this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Explain basic components of supervision
  • Demonstrate understanding of benefits and challenges related to delivering contracted clinical supervision 
  • Demonstrate skills in providing structure, rigor, and transparency in the learning process to support
  • Differentiate between strategies that promote transparency and accountability and clinical skills that offer support within the context of the supervisory relationship
