Description

Join botantist, phenologist, and Cedar Creek historian Dr. Katrina Freund Saxhaug on a seasonal stroll at Cedar Creek! Participants will walk ~1.5 miles in total on sand, dirt and hard plastic boardwalks, pausing regularly to discuss natural and scientific history and the species to look for as spring turns into summer. Your trail, which is not open to the public, will pass through a variety of ecosystems and provide a diversity of opportunities to explore the flora and fauna of Minnesota!

If poor weather forces us to cancel, we hope registered participants will be able to join us on Sunday (May 15th or June 12th) for a rescheduled outing. We will communicate directly with registered participants in this case.

Space is limited to 15 participants. Ages 12+ recommended.
