Description

Whether you are a new beekeeper starting out with your first package, or an experienced beekeeper planning to expand your apiary, each year of beekeeping holds new challenges. Stay up to date with recommendations on seasonal management with expert beekeepers from the University of MN Bee Squad. We use videos, photos, and data taken from hundreds of Bee Squad hives to provide timely recommendations for beekeeping techniques and management.

Each class will be a live Zoom meeting, with time for questions and in-depth discussion. Participants are welcome to share photos and details from their own hives. These classes will NOT be recorded or made available to view later.

Class Dates and Descriptions

The online classes will be held via Zoom one Thursday per month from 7:00-8:00pm (CST). The instructor will send a reminder email with a Zoom link the week before each class. If you have photos of your hives that you would like to discuss during class, please email them to ma-bees@umn.edu.
