Description

Video is an important part of storytelling and sharing a narrative for labor and community organizing. In Part 1 of this series (September 8th, 2025), we will go over how to plan a video, how to produce a video with everyday equipment, how to capture an interview and b-roll, and the basics of editing. and ways to promote a video once it is produced.

Between sessions, participants will be tasked with making a short video project of their choosing. In Part 2 (September 29th, 2025), participants will share their videos and get feedback. We’ll learn more about video editing and how to put videos out into the world once they are complete.

This class is ideal for beginners.
