Description

In this interactive and practice-focused presentation, participants will learn more about approaches to planning and organizing presentations.  We will explore the role of audience, purpose, and context in giving presentations and how this might vary culturally.  We will practice presentation “take offs” (beginnings) and “landings” (endings) that can help make lasting impressions and make your key points memorable.  Please bring a presentation, or other material that you are working on, that could serve as content for presentation practice.

These sessions are for International Graduate Students and International Postdocs only. You can attend one or both sessions. Please register early as space is limited.
