Description

This workshop introduces key concepts for evaluating generative AI (GenAI) tools such as ChatGPT for research tasks. We will introduce how large language models work and explore guidelines for applying GenAI for literature reviews, summarization, editing, coursework, and publishing. We'll apply a critical lens to unpack the risks and benefits of using GenAI tools, and introduce examples of innovative graduate-level AI-assisted research.
