Join us for a Block Printing Workshop at Cedar Creek where art and science converge to celebrate the beauty and diversity of prairie plants! This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the fascinating world of prairie flora, highlighting their ecological importance and unique adaptations. You'll learn the basics of block printing, from designing plant-inspired patterns to using carving tools and the printing process. Discover how the scientific aspects of prairie plants, such as their anatomy and structure, can inspire your artistic creations. Materials will be provided, no experience necessary!

Come prepared to walk outside, and to use sharp, hand held carving tools. If you would like to bring a child with you, please make sure they are at least 8 years old and that there is one adult for each child. You can use the Family Registration option at checkout to add to your group.
