Description

We will start by introducing the fundamental concepts of deep learning and guide you through the setup of both software and hardware compute environments necessary for deep learning computations on the Agate supercomputer. We will focus on the capabilities of HPC GPUs to accelerate computations and handle deep learning models. You will learn to configure your HPC compute environment to maximize workflow efficiency from data preparation through model training to inference. By the end of this tutorial, you'll have the practical skills to execute deep learning tasks on Agate supercomputer. 

To be successful, you should have:

  • An active MSI account
  • A laptop computer you can use to connect to MSI
  • General familiarity with bash shell and interact with a Linux System
