Description

This course will center around fat liberation and will also provide opportunity for group and self-reflection around internalized fatphobia/sizeism. We will begin with an
exploration of cultural and generational terms. We will then review the continuum of fat liberation movements. We will conclude with sharing U.S. legal and non-legal protections for people experiencing size bias. Throughout this interactive dialogue, participants will be encouraged to explore their own size biases by engaging in individual and small group guided discussions. This workshop is open to individuals of all sizes.
