You can not attend a recertification workshop if you are a new applicator.

Applicators can sign up for either workshop, however, some content will be focused on certain growers.
• 2/19/25 workshop will be focused on FRUIT & VEGETABLE Growers
• 2/28/25 workshop will be focused on CROPS

We reserve the right to combine and/or cancel a Zoom workshop due to low enrollment.

Guest Account Password Reset Video Already have a University of Minnesota guest account due to a past registration? Learn how to reset your password to activate your account and prevent login challenges during registration. Passwords need to be reset annually to remain active.

Creating a new guest account because you're new to the university? Use your own valid email address to which you have immediate access. Failure to do so could result in someone else's name on your certification card. Duplicate and shared emails in guest accounts cannot be used.

• Private Pesticide Applicator Certification Numbers are not transferable to others, including family members. Even if your certification is expired, you must still use the same previous assigned number.
• Can't find your certification number? Find it online at z.umn.edu/PPATcertlookup (uncheck "Unexpired Licenses Only" box if your certification is expired).
• Have your certification number and credit card information ready.

Call UMN's Technology Help Desk at 612-301-4357 for all guest account and login related problems. Tell them you are registering for a non-credit training.

Zoom Link and Check-in

• Approximately 2-3 days prior to your scheduled workshop, you will receive an email with the Zoom link. Do not share this email with other applicators. Only registered participants can attend the workshop.
• Check-in starts 15 minutes prior to the start of your scheduled workshop. You must have your applicator certification card on hand and available to show your webcam.
• Applicators who join the workshop more than 15 minutes late or who leave before the workshop is adjourned will not be able to receive recertification credit.

• Please contact us at least two weeks prior to your workshop. Phone registration requests do not guarantee your registration spot.
• When you leave a message to request phone registration you will be asked for the course number and name. Please reference PPAT and use the sections listed in the right margin to find your event location and/or number (example: EXT XAF. 0163).
