Interested in growing cannabis at home? This in-person course will provide reliable, science-based guidance on cultivating cannabis in a home garden. Designed for beginners, this class covers the fundamentals of plant care and management practices needed for a successful outdoor grow.

Topics include:

  • Minnesota laws and regulations for home growers 
  • Understanding cannabis growth stages and plant care needs
  • Soil, water, and nutrient requirements for healthy plants
  • Site selection and environmental considerations for outdoor growing
  • Common pests, diseases, and plant training techniques
  • Harvesting, curing, and safe storage 

Open to adults 21 and older, this course provides accurate, practical information to help you grow responsibly, with confidence.
