Strengthen your livestock operation with this flexible, self‑paced introductory course in livestock production. You’ll explore essential animal science and husbandry topics—including nutrition, reproduction, housing and facilities, health, and safe handling—tailored to beef and dairy cattle, goats, sheep, poultry, and swine.

Designed for beginning producers, this course will help you determine which species best fits your goals and farming system. You’ll also learn how to plan for the facilities, equipment, and skills needed to raise healthy, productive animals.
