Description

Lane Johnson with the Cloquet Forestry Center will facilitate a panel discussion with practitioners from federal and non-profit backgrounds. They'll discuss their approaches to leveraging limited capacity for burning; preparing timber stand project areas for prescribed fire; reducing barriers to get more fire on the ground; and developing agreement. After the webinar, we'll continue the conversation in the woods as we walk the grounds of the Cloquet Forestry Center and visit some recently burned stands.

We will be indoors at the Cloquet Forestry Center for the discussion; afterwards, we will visit two stops in the field. A nursing mother room is available; for this and other accommodations reach out to Lane Moser at moser196@umn.edu.
