Description

The University of Minnesota Extension, in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and the Minnesota Department of Health, will offer Changing our Mental and Emotional Trajectory (COMET) facilitator certification sessions at four locations across Minnesota.

This in-person training will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will include a light lunch. The cost is $150.00 per person. Each location can accommodate up to 30 participants. Upon successful completion, attendees will join Minnesota’s COMET facilitator network and be equipped to deliver COMET workshops. Participants will receive a certificate of completion for their professional development records or for use in obtaining CEUs.

We strongly encourage you to attend a free two hour COMET workshop yourself before participating in the COMET facilitator training. Scheduled sessions are listed here, or you can do a web search for online COMET workshops offered by groups in other states.
