Description

University of Minnesota Autism Diagnostics Training Program

Prerequisites: Bachelor’s degree or higher; currently in an occupational role where the ADI-R falls within your professional scope.

This training assumes experience with child assessment and differentiating autism from other diagnoses. If you want more training in this area before taking the ADI-R training, we recommend the Introduction to ASD workshop and the Differential Diagnosis workshop offered through the Global Autism Interactive Network (GAIN).

Description: The Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) Introductory Training is a 2-day workshop that uses lectures and video demonstrations to provide training to those who are new to the ADI-R. Training will include a general introduction to the ADI-R; administration, and scoring guidelines; reviewing recorded administrations with parents and an overview of coding; and psychometrics and research on the ADI-R.

Questions regarding the training can be sent to Maishia Yang at yang8440@umn.edu.
