Description

Create impactful learning experiences.

Outline

Most learning and development professionals know that adults learn best in social situations where they can make meaning together.

This course will teach you how to create these kinds of social environments to facilitate group learning. You will understand the differences between teaching and facilitation, and when to use different training methods for maximum impact.

Through a highly interactive mix of discussion, demonstration, and practice, you will be able to integrate these techniques into your own learning experiences.

Course Outcomes

At the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Tell the difference between training and facilitation (and why both are important in the learning environment).
  • practice techniques that facilitate effective debate, discussion, dialogue, and sense-making within an audience.
  • know when to use which techniques to create a meaningful learning experience.
