This two-hour workshop will focus on integrating readings and films by Francophone West Africans and immigrants into existing high school French courses in order to broaden students' views of what it means to be African, French, or both in our increasingly mobile and globalized world. Presented by Dr. Catherine Pulling and Jen Westmoreland Bouchard, M.A..  Catherine and Jen will present sample lessons and provide resources for high school French teachers looking to include more West African content in their courses.
