All physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, psychologists and social workers are invited to attend.
 

Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, learners should be better able to: 

  • Recognize the role of early intervention in the first years of life and understand the mental health principles in the first years of life.
  • To learn how to translate research into programs to help high risk children (i.e. foster children, children with medical issues).
  • Describe the benefits of including early mental health in general pediatrics work.

This conference is supported by Masonic Grant to the Department of Pediatrics: Early Brain Initiative and in collaboration with Help Me Grow MN, Minnesota American Academy of Pediatrics, Center for Neurobehavioral Development, Institute for Child Development, and Zero to Three.
