Description

Join us for the University of Minnesota Day of Data 2021! This year will feature a series of virtual events aimed at learning and sharing new data skills and connecting with data enthusiasts across the University.

All Experience Levels Are Welcome

This event is open to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni from all University of Minnesota campuses. The event is free of charge to attend. Whether you are new to data or a data expert, you are welcome!

Learn Why Data Matters

Because 2020 has been a year of change and creative problem-solving, this year's event will explore the ways that "data matters" across disciplines, to help participants appreciate a diversity of ways that data is used to tackle pressing local and global issues.

Connect With Other Data Enthusiasts

Many people and groups across the University are developing interesting approaches to data, methods, and workflows, but we don’t always get a chance to share our work across departments and units. U of M Day of Data offers a variety of virtual opportunities to connect with other data enthusiasts—across the bounds of space and time!—to share and learn from each other.
