Description

Grounded in the skillsets of dialogue and civic discourse, the course emphasizes the mindsets and skills needed for bridge-building interactions: cultivating humility, curiosity, and openness; engaging in deep listening and storytelling; and navigating hard conversations with empathy and respect. Learners will explore how dialogue can bridge divides, deepen understanding, and foster cooperation- even when experiences diverge and perspectives conflict. Through reflection, practice, and peer engagement, participants will develop greater awareness of their own emotions and intentions, while learning tools for active listening, empathy, and accountability.
